Visit the School of Music

In-Person School of Music Tour and Information Sessions - Fall 2024 In Person Tour and Information Sessions are held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 11:00am-12:00pm ET until December 6, 2024. 

Our in-person tour and information sessions are led by our admissions staff and student admissions ambassadors. These sessions allow prospective students and families to view School of Music facilities, learn about music student life, and receive a general overview of our admission requirements and application procedures.

Virtual Information Sessions - Fall 2024 Virtual Visits will be every Thursday from 1:00-2:00pm ET until December 12, 2024.

Virtual information sessions provide in-depth information on our admission requirements and application procedures, as well as a general overview of our degree programs. For program-specific questions or information about music student life, please email music-admissions@andrew.hrfjk.com to be connected to an appropriate contact. 

Walk-ins

Individual visits (virtual or in-person) may be available by appointment, based on staff availability.  Email music-admissions@andrew.hrfjk.com to inquire.

If you are interested in meeting with a music faculty member, please contact that professor directly. You can see our faculty's contact information here. Please note that during the summer months we cannot guarantee faculty availability.

The Undergraduate Admission office is also offering in-person campus tours.  Those wishing a full campus tour may schedule through the Office of Undergraduate Admission or register for an in-person information session or CMU campus tour. 

The Virtual Visits and In Person Tours are focused primarily toward prospective undergraduates, applicants, and accepted students.  If you are a prospective graduate student please feel free to register for one of the Virtual Visits or In Person Tours, however, if you are interested in scheduling an individual appointment with a member of our staff, please contact us directly at music-admissions@andrew.hrfjk.com. We can offer Zoom or other types of appointments, and will confirm with you directly.
